Michael Atmar is the proud husband of his wife, Erin, and father of three sons, Case, Declan, and Tate, and his daughter Ellis. A fourth-generation Houstonian, Michael is excited to be a part of the mission of Seven Mile Road and longs to see the city of Houston transformed by the gospel of Jesus Christ. Michael is passionate about discipleship, training leaders, and equipping God’s people to use their gifts for the work of ministry.
Michael attended the University of Texas at Austin and graduated with a degree in Business Honors and Finance. After working as a financial analyst in Dallas, Texas for one year, Michael and Erin moved to Branson, Missouri for several years to serve on full-time staff with Kanakuk Ministries as camp directors for children ages 6-12. In the fall of 2020, Michael completed his master’s degree from Dallas Theological Seminary with a focus on Christian Leadership. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, running with Erin, eating Tex-Mex and Barbeque, and making new friends.
