Luke Carlson
ELDER
Luke is joyfully married to his wife, Marianne. They are the proud parents of young Caleb.
He has actively served at Seven Mile Road since its inception in various capacities including House Church Shepherd, pre-marriage counselor, mentor, and as a volunteer with the Worship Team.
He is grateful for the faithful teaching, simplified programming, and meaningful community his family and he have found at Seven Mile Road. Luke is honored to serve as a lay elder and volunteer treasurer for the church. He has deep conviction about living life with a long-term perspective that embodies and declares God's redemptive story.
Luke grew up in Pennsylvania as a pastor's kid to loving and faithful parents before migrating to Texas for undergrad at Baylor University (Finance). He has lived in Houston since 2011 and has spent his career working in various roles in the energy industry. He currently works in management for Refined Technologies.
Luke spends his free time in conversation with Marianne and friends, throwing balls and wrestling with Caleb, reading good books, and being active outdoors.
