peyton silva, minister of spread hope
Peyton is a wife, enthusiast, and reader. She cares deeply about proclaiming God’s glory to all nations, and reaching those both locally and globally with the good news of Jesus.
Peyton was raised in Graham, a small town in northwest Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin and earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in speech language pathology. Before joining the staff at 7MR, she worked as a speech-language pathologist in private clinics, public schools, and hospitals. Outside of her professional roles, she has worked in a variety of positions to spread God’s ministry to the world including spending a year in Central Asia as a teacher amongst an unreached people group and serving as a volunteer English teacher for refugee women.
She is excited to be working full time to support God’s ministry in the world. She looks forward to developing new leaders, encouraging women in their faith, and catalyzing 7MR toward local and global missions. Peyton is married to Matt, a native Houstonian, and has grown to love Houston through exploration of its rich, diverse culture. She loves her local library, walking laps at Memorial Park, and being on the water.
